Spokane Cosmetic Dentistry Services
When your smile doesn’t look great, it’s hard to feel your best. How we look when we see ourselves in the mirror each morning can affect our outlook for the entire day. Your smile is an essential part of how you see yourself. At Cascade Dental Care, we believe everyone should love the way they smile.
That’s why we offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures in addition to our other procedures. These include:

One of the most cutting-edge and effective ways currently developed to replace missing teeth is with a permanent, realistic-looking dental implant. This provides the same function, look, and feel as the original tooth.
Implants themselves take between 6 – 9 months to complete and happen in two parts. The first step is the implant surgery where a titanium screw is surgically implanted into the jawbone like a new tooth. The screw simulates the original tooth and helps the jaw to regrow while also providing a secure location to mount a crown during the second part of the procedure after the gums and jaw have healed from the implantation.
Once the healing has completed and the screw has been accepted by the jaw, a crown is placed on top of the implant. Cascade Dental Care will specifically design this crown to match the shape and color of your other teeth. Once the crown is affixed, you can then use the implanted tooth as you would have used the original. We also offer routine checkups and maintenance for dental implants.
If you’ve been curious about Invisalign vs. traditional braces, there are a lot of benefits to consider. First and foremost, Invisalign is both removable and practically invisible while offering the same benefits as traditional braces. Not only this, but aligners are far more comfortable in comparison to traditional wire braces. Typically, the majority of discomfort experienced comes only in the first day or so of use, after which it passes.
Want to enjoy an apple or some popcorn or even a stick of gum? Just take out your aligners. In the same way, you can continue to brush and floss as you always have by simply removing your aligners for a few minutes.
The typical length of time needed to wear aligners is usually between 12 and 18 months, but some treatments have been completed in less. Everyone is different and we’ll be able to give you a more accurate idea of how long you would need to wear them when you come in. In many cases, aligners go unnoticed by others altogether.
Though Invisalign is a great option when the need for realignment is more severe, Bioliners can be just as effective and more comfortable with the misalignment is only slight. Most Bioliners are made of soft thermal plastic and are ideal for a small minor crowding or for a relapse of a previous alignment.
These plastic inserts gently fit over the affected teeth and exert a steady pressure towards the desired alignment. The best thing is that Bioliners typically only need to be worn for a matter of 4 – 6 weeks instead of months and can move teeth up to 1.5mm.
The treatment is typically completed in two phases, the first with a softer insert and then the second phase that completes the movement of the teeth with a more rigid insert.
Cascade Dental Care can also create a removable retainer to help adjust misaligned bites and crooked teeth. While often more serious forms of correction are required than a removable retainer, one of our experienced Orthodontists will fully examine you or your child to determine the best treatment.
In most cases, something more significant (Bioliners or Invisalign) will be needed. There is no one type of appliance of braces, but rather, each individual’s braces may contain a slightly different combination of wires, bands, and other pieces.
We are happy to offer both in-office whitening as well as at-home whitening options to help you regain the white glow to your teeth if it has faded or if they are discolored (from Coffee, Wine, Energy Drinks, etc.). Unlike store-bought, one-size-fits-all whitening kits, Cascade Dental Care will create a whitening tray and kit that is custom fit to your mouth and needs.

Alternatively, our in-office whitening procedure can quickly get you dramatic results in as little as one hour. While under the supervision of our dentists, we can use a much stronger whitening gel than is safe for home use. In most cases, this gel will improve teeth whiteness by 8 – 10 times.
